Podcast Essence: sharing real‑world experience, not generic advice

At Essence, we work with many companies over the long term – on projects, in workshops, and in day‑to‑day operations. Podcast Essence was created directly from these experiences. Not as a marketing format, but as a space to openly share how companies actually deal with digitalization, ERP systems, and process management in real life.

Podcast Essence is built on hands‑on experience from projects we deliver every day. We do not offer universal recipes or shortcuts. Instead, we talk openly about what works, what does not, and why.

Why we started the podcast

There are topics that come up again and again in discussions with our clients. How to think about ERP. When digital transformation really makes sense. Why some projects succeed and others end in frustration.

We started the podcast to share these insights in a straightforward way, without sales pressure.

The core idea is simple:

  • to talk about technology in the context of how companies actually operate
  • to show the connection between processes, data, and people
  • to share experience that usually only comes up once a project is already underway

Three initial episodes as a foundation

Podcast Essence launched with three episodes from the start. Intentionally. So listeners can choose the topic that is most relevant to them right now.

The first three episodes focus on:

  • who we are at Essence and how we think about technology
  • digital transformation within the Microsoft ecosystem and its real impact
  • ERP system selection and the role of external consultants in this decision

Together, these episodes form the foundation of the series and clearly define the direction Podcast Essence will take going forward.

What’s coming next

In upcoming episodes, we will focus even more on practical experience. On real situations companies face every day, but rarely talk about openly.

Planned topics include:

  • the most common challenges companies face during digitalization and how to address them
  • cloud and the future of ERP without marketing hype
  • specifics of accounting and manufacturing companies
  • ERP as a long‑term service, not a one‑off implementation

We see Podcast Essence as a long‑term content format that helps companies better navigate decisions that impact how they operate for years to come.
