Flexible Planning

The most fundamental function of the Essence Manufacturing module. It allows you to set zero flexibility in automatic scheduling so that you can keep full control of production orders. Full flexibility in system scheduling may lead to confusion for planners and purchasers.

This package also includes automatic status updates for TNG steps. As soon as the full quantity of an operation is reported as finished, the TNG step is automatically updated to “completed.”

The core part of the Essence Manufacturing module gives you complete control over production order scheduling. With zero scheduling flexibility, you can be sure that each order is set according to your specific needs without compromising clarity.

Additionally, you get a bonus feature for automatic TNG status updates – once the full quantity is reported, the system updates the step to “completed” automatically.

Make-to-Order Production

We have developed a unique make-to-order (MTO) solution that takes standard capabilities to the next level. From a single sales order, you can easily create production orders for individual lines, consolidate them into one order, or split them into optimal batch sizes – all to increase efficiency and ease of use.

This module connects sales and production seamlessly, without the need for reservations, which ensures simple traceability and exceptional flexibility in production planning. Automatic output reservation also protects your custom-made products from being sold to the wrong customer.

Order Type Classification

If you are looking for truly flexible classification of production orders, this added functionality of the Essence Manufacturing module offers exactly that. You can assign specific tags to orders such as Complaint, Cutting, Serial Production or Prototype, which helps with better organization and more efficient workflows.

The solution also allows you to automate processes, such as closing orders based on their type or applying color coding in the Gantt chart to simplify visualization and decision-making.

Data export is also fully customizable – specific order types can be made accessible only to selected users, for example, external teams handling assembly orders. With default values for specific fields like warehouse or quality control, you can also automate even the smallest details, saving time and increasing productivity.

Production / Sales Replenishment

Based on your production orders or sales orders, the system automatically creates replenishment requests – both for purchase of needed components in the requisition worksheet and production requirements in the planning worksheet.

All of this can run automatically, for example as a nightly job, so that in the morning your planner and purchaser have a ready-to-use list of required components and semi-finished goods. The process can also be launched manually, and each user receives their own list of needed items.

Compared to standard MRP, our module allows you to assign individual item cards to specific planners or purchasers. Their personal worksheet then shows only their relevant items.

As part of this package, you also get a function for consolidation – the system can combine requests from multiple orders into grouped lines.

The same functionality applies to sales order replenishment, where you can generate both purchase and production requests.
